In my other life I work as a Lecturer at The University of Western Ontario, where I teach at the Faculty of Information and Media Studies.

My primary area of interest is web design, which I teach in the Masters Library and Information Science program, and the undergraduate Media, Information and Technoculture program. I have also worked as a freelance consultant, helping clients with:

• building better websites
• integrate social media
• search engine optimization
• usability
• accessibility.

I'm available to talk about any of these topics, and of course, anything to do with the topics I cover in my fictional writing.
