Where Have All the Readers Gone
(Sung to the tune of Where Have All the Flowers Gone, with apologies to Pete Seeger)
Where have all the readers gone?
Long time passing
Where have all the readers gone?
Long time ago
Where have all the readers gone?
Radio took them every one
When will they ever learn?
When will they ever learn?
Where did all the radio go?
Long time passing
Where did all the radio go?
Long time ago
Where did all the radio go?
All are watching the TV show
When will they ever learn?
When will they ever learn?
Where have all TV shows gone?
Long time passing
Where have all TV shows gone?
Long time ago
Where have all TV shows gone?
Now reality every one
When will they ever learn?
When will they ever learn?
Where have all the viewers gone?
Long time passing
Where have all the viewers gone?
Long time ago
Where have all the viewers gone?
Gone to weblogs every one
When will they ever learn?
When will they ever learn?
Where have all the weblogs gone?
Long time passing
Where have all the weblogs gone?
Long time ago
Where have all the weblogs gone?
Gone to Facebook every one.
When will we ever learn?
When will we ever learn?

Where have all the bloggers gone? Gone to twitter every one.
Except me. I’m stubborn.
Cool song parody. Thanks for sharing. And for sparing us your ham-fisted singing. (Or wait. Maybe I’m curious about ham-fisted singing…)
It was not the singing so much as my attempts to mix three tracks of myself singing together in a feeble attempt to sound like the Kingston Trio. Turns out those boys were damned talented.
All too true. I don’t even own a t.v. anymore. I watch everything online, because I only have to wait one day to watch it, and if I can’t watch it that day, I can watch it later. I am one of the ones who watches pirated shows, though. I refuse to subscribe to places like Hulu Plus and Netflix.
I remember the Kingston Trio. My oldest sister was 12 years older than me, and she loved them.
