A few carnivals to note: The Carnival of the Insanities is always a fun read.
Even though Buridan couldn’t see the godless aspect of Joan of Arc Girds Herself (I was crushed to discover it wasn’t obvious), you should check out this week’s Carnival of the Godless. Update: I’m less crushed now, as Buridan has added my piece to this Carnival. Even without it, you should check it out!
Update: It’s up! You can find a lively Best of Me Symphony at the Owner’s Manual.
Hello Mark,
I think I was operating under too narrow of a focus when I originally read your entry. I’ve read it again for the third time and the mistake is certainly mine. I thought it was a very well-written piece when I first read it but didn’t see the godless qualities at the time. In any event, I’ve included it with the rest of the COTG entries. My apologies for my momentary lack of perception.
Buridan
Thanks Buridan — for a while there I thought I was really off-base with the piece!
