D. Bartholomew Lurie It was a meeting of minds. Dr. Maximilian Tundra was attending a performance of The Spy Who Bugged Me -- an cabaret of limited virtue. At the intermission, he introduced himself to the charming lass who was playing the redoubtable Helga Von Warthog. Her eyes were blurry, her hair was blond(ish) and her breasts were magnificent. Magnificently real, as it turned out the miracle of gelatin. For little was Dr. Tundra to know that the fetching ingenue playing the Nazi torturess (part of her appeal?) was none other than D. Bartholomew Lurie. A lamentable and potentially embarrassing situation was avoided when Helga transgendered midway through the production, to become Hans Von Warthog, and all was revealed.
Such is the comic genius of D. Bart. Named after one of Wagner's lesser-known operas, Die Bart Lugs, D. Bartholomew was destined for greatness. Co-author of the Canadian bestseller, The Four Norsemen of the Apocalypse, D. Bart's other accomplishments include siring children, getting a vas..., er, operation and writing an article about it. He may be contacted by email. I need to know more about the Flyboy. --"Scholarship" by the Squire |
