Why are you doing this?

Two reasons -- I like the technology and I want to give people who'd like one a chance to win one. The other, more selfish reason, is I'd like more people to read my novels, Marvellous Hairy & The Amadeus Net. My hope is this giveaway will encourage more people to check it out, buy it, and spread the word.

But isn't this kind of like paying for readers?

Yep.. But I have confidence people will enjoy the books. This is just another way of getting attention in a competitive market.

How many will you give away?

How much money are you making on this scheme?

I don't think I'm going to make anything, but I'm not really doing it for the money. I want more people to read the book. My hope is the costs will be covered by sales.).

Does it matter where I buy a copy?
