The Victory crashes onto the surface of an alien planet crashing through trees and plowing up the ground before coming to rest in a swamp

I begin by pointing out the name of the ship. The Victory is very close to the Victorious, the fated ship that foundered in the Thames on a 24th of May so long ago.

It is worth noting that the crash scene appears to have influenced the depiction of the crash of the Enterprise on Veridian Three in Star Trek Generations. But I digress.
