An Ode

Ode to a Chesleyan Friday evening

From yonder, soiled trousers did come a funk,
Of the Cheslean “Reader”, a belligerent drunk.

Post Chesley they fly
Consuming the falafel they try

A mayonnaise smothered pile o’ sick
While Thuders pimp sets him up for a trick.

That toothless aboriginal chap is happy to beat
The kid standing far below six feet.

For the dangerously underage we signal with a wink
Our consensus to “perform” these lasses bowed over a sink.

Away from Richmond, they lively schlep
To cabs poach’d at a rapid step.

And the night draws to a close, all homeward stumbled,
To the loo arrive’d, by holy porcelain are humbled.
